The People’s Assembly is the heart and soul of community-led governance to foster true democracy.  The Assembly is a vehicle for, “political education” and a vehicle to return power to frontline communities most impacted by racial and economic inequality/equity.

System change happens when we use every arsenal within our tool box.  Engaging in the electoral process is one tool we must use as we work to fulfil our mission of making transformative system and policy change in Mississippi and throughout the South.
