THE PEOPLE'S ASSEMBLY

The People’s Assembly is the heart and soul of community-led governance to foster true democracy.  The Assembly is a vehicle for, “political education” and a vehicle to return power to frontline communities most impacted by racial and economic inequality/equity.  The People’s Assembly provides a space for all residents (including but not limited to persons barred from voting due to their criminal history, immigration status or youth) that care about a place to make both large and small decisions regarding the governing of their city, neighborhood and blocks.
